The natural setting in the beautiful Peak District and the luxury farm house accommodation provide the perfect setting to compliment to calisthenics training. The in-house chef we are providing will take care of all your nutritional needs (which we hope is going to include the outside BBQ and wood fire pizza oven!).
Personalised calisthenics screening and individualised programme design
This is the only time when you can get an individual physical movement assessment and a bespoke calisthenics training programme designed specifically for you.
Using our experience of screening and developing strength and conditioning programmes for elite athletes, the team will create a comprehensive programme and training plan for you and then coach you through the specifics of the thought process behind it and how to perform each of the exercises.
We don’t offer this opportunity at any other time in the year so don’t miss out!
Education development sessions
We’re not just going to cover the practical side of calisthenics training on the field trip but we’ll also include some ‘lessons’.
These session will be fun and informal rather than a university lecture! Tim and Jacko have some great knowledge development sessions planned as we’re passionate about educating our students and to help you understand how to optimise your training and write your own programmes.
They will include some basic exercise science and training theory so you know why you’re doing what you’re doing.
With all this, ‘Redefining your Impossible’ is only a matter of time!
There will be optional Yoga sessions and sports massages will also be available – unfortunately these won’t be led by Tim and Jacko!
We also have a VIP cottage for 2 available for those wanting the ultimate VIP experience (details on request).
The retreat is all about learning more about calisthenics, getting individualised support with your training and when you’re all calisthenics’d out, having fun. The experience and your learning is of paramount importance to us so there will be plenty of opportunity throughout the four days to pick the brain of the co-founders of the School of Calisthenics.
Friday 5th October 2018
Upon arrival you’ll get your first taste of the amazing cuisine you’re going to enjoy for the next few days. We’ll then start the personalised screening process where you’ll have a one on one session with Tim or Jacko.
Once complete we’ll do a late afternoon movement preparation + mobility session to get over any travel tightness and help you to relax in preparation for the next few days! Tim and Jacko will go on their own mini retreat to design your individualised training programme before we all come together again for dinner.
Saturday 6th October 2018
Our first full day starts with an (optional) yoga session to wake us up and set the day ahead before breakfast.
We’ll then start with a short education session to explain the principles of your individualised training programmes before Tim and Jacko will take each of you through your individual programmes in pairs or small groups.
There will be some time to relax between sessions before we have lunch. The afternoon will include a group calisthenics training session before dinner, followed by an informal wrap up of the day and a Q+A over wine or soft drinks.
Sunday 7th October 2018
Sundays starts with an optional run / jog / walk / explore of the countryside before a relaxed breakfast. We’ll then kick things off with our morning calisthenics training session.
We’ll have some time for individual training and problem solving supported by Tim and Jacko before lunch. Having refuelled and maybe following the bliss of a Sunday afternoon nap we’ll head out for another calisthenics training session in the afternoon. Finally we’ll wrap things up on Sunday by enjoying our final evening meal together.
We want to make sure you leave with a plan for the next few months so we’ll have some time discussing how you can maximise your training moving forwards. There will be more opportunity to ask any questions or just to sit back and enjoy the evening.
Monday 8th October 2018
The last day kicks off with breakfast before our final training session. We’ll have a light lunch together before we say our emotional farewells around midday!

The cost per person or per room depends on the room choice with prices starting from £1000 per person.
This includes all training, individualised programming, breakfast, lunch and dinner with drinks at mealtimes, education sessions plus memories you’ll never forget!
